Steven Rude
Branch Manager – CROSSCOUNTRY MORTGAGE
Greeting, my name is Steve Rude. I am a Regional Branch Manager at CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC in Plano, Texas and Carlsbad, California; the Founder of SJR Capital, Inc.; and a California native. My mortgage and real estate experience spans over 28 years, ranging from regional management roles with national Fortune 500 companies to ownership in some of the finest mortgage banking operations in the region. My extensive business development skills, coupled with a passion to continually create value and support for our elite loan officer teams, enable me to realize my vision of growing and expanding the Dallas, Texas and San Diego, California markets.
I believe in leading by example, both in my life and in business. As an entrepreneur since the age of 20, I consistently drive for excellence by being a visionary and thought leader among my peers and business associates. In addition to my managerial position, I also apply my comprehensive knowledge in sales development to my daily role as an active, top-producing Loan Officer.

With over 25 years’ experience in the real estate industry and 20 of those years originating mortgages, I can see things that other industry professionals may overlook. This experience enables me to find solutions and options for most scenarios.
I believe a mortgage should be about building relationships, and helping my customers achieve their home financing goals…it’s not just a transaction. And I look forward to helping you achieve your financial goals!
SHERYL WOODRUFF
Sr. Loan Processor
I have been in the “lending” business for over 23 years. I started off in Real Estate, and quickly realized that my passion was more on the “lending side” As a Loan Processor, It is very rewarding to start a loan, gather the documentation, and see it through to the final signing of the loan documents! Knowing that I shared a little part of someone, being able to buy their dream home is a wonderful feeling! I am the liaison between the Loan Officer, who is out on the front lines, and the Underwriter who is behind the scenes, making the final decision for the loan. With the depth of my experience, I am able to foresee the beginnings of a loan, build what is needed and deliver it to the Underwriter for the final stamp of approval! I look forward to processing your loan too!
ZACHARY KOENIGSBERG
Loan Officer Assistant
Hello! My name is Zachary Koenigsberg. I am the SR Teams Sales Assistant/Loan Officer Assistant for CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC in Plano, Texas. I started my mortgage career in 2015 where I was able to complete several internships at First Choice Loan Services located in New Jersey. In that position, I was assisting all departments, from loan officers and funders to processors, through the loan application process.
Being part of the SR Team has been a dream. Our team is very diligent and very willing to help everyone achieve the American dream of purchasing a home. Whether it’s a refinance or purchase, we look forward to assisting you real soon!
